Ingredients:
• 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
• 1 cup sliced bell peppers
• 1 cup sliced onions
• 1/2 cup matchstick carrots
• 1 cup broccoli florets
• 2 green onions, sliced into 1-inch pieces
• 2 tbsp soy sauce
• 2 tbsp cornstarch
• 2-3 tbsp vegetable oil
For the Sauce:
• 1/2 cup soy sauce
• 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
• 3 tbsp brown sugar
• 1 tsp ginger
• 1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions:
1. Marinate the thinly sliced flank steak in a bowl with soy sauce and cornstarch for at least 15 minutes.
2. While the steak is marinating, prepare the sauce by mixing soy sauce, red pepper flakes, brown sugar, ginger, and minced garlic in another bowl. Set it aside.
3. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Fry the steak for about 2 minutes on each side, working in batches if needed to avoid crowding the pan. Once cooked, set the steak aside.
4. In the same pan, add all the vegetables except the green onions. Cook them for 2-3 minutes.
5. Next, add the prepared sauce and the cooked steak back into the pan. Cook everything together for an additional minute.
6. Finally, stir in the sliced green onions and cook for another minute.
7. Serve your sizzling steak stir-fry hot and enjoy!
