Ingredients:
• 1 fresh pineapple
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions:
1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Get your air fryer ready by setting it to 400°F (200°C) so it’s nice and hot when you’re ready to cook.
2. Prepare the Pineapple: Start by cutting off the top and bottom of the pineapple. Then peel off the skin by slicing around the pineapple. Cut the pineapple into long slices, leaving the core intact. Chop the slices into chunks and put them in a big bowl.
3. Make the Cinnamon Sugar Glaze: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar together. Stir until they’re mixed well. Add the cinnamon and keep whisking until it’s smooth and smells deliciously cinnamony.
4. Coat the Pineapple: Pour the cinnamon sugar glaze over the pineapple chunks in the bowl. Mix them up until each chunk is covered in the sweet cinnamon glaze.
5. Arrange in Air Fryer: Spread out the coated pineapple chunks in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they’re not all piled on top of each other for even cooking.
6. Air Fry to Perfection: Cook the pineapple chunks in the air fryer for about 12 minutes. Flip them over at the 5 and 10-minute marks so they get caramelized evenly on all sides.
7. Serve and Enjoy: Once the pineapple is golden and caramelized, take it out of the air fryer and serve it up right away for a taste of the tropics.
