Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers Recipe

INGREDIENTS :
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Wooden or metal skewers (if using wooden, soak in water for 30 minutes prior to baking)
INSTRUCTIONS :
Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C), letting it come up to a friendly warmth while you prepare the chicken.
Cut the chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes, thinking of each one like a little parcel of comfort.
In a mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, olive oil, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix them together like a patchwork quilt of flavors.
Toss the chicken cubes in this herb and cheese mixture until every piece is coated as tenderly as if it were wrapped in a hug.
Thread the seasoned chicken pieces onto the skewers, leaving a bit of space between each piece so they cook evenly, much like leaving room for the biscuit dough to rise.
Arrange the skewers on a baking sheet, as if setting them out for an audience at a county fair.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is golden and whispers of succulence when pierced with a fork.
Once finished, let them rest a spell while you summon the hungry folks, then sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving, as bright as a springtime meadow.
